A week dedicated to solidarity finance

A week dedicated to solidarity finance
  • Solidarity savings and finance
  • Saving for solidarity

Every year in November, the Finansol association organizes Solidarity Finance Week.

The aim is to raise French people's awareness of the importance of giving meaning to their savings by supporting virtuous, sustainable projects. Everyone can, at their own level, decide on the social and environmental impact of their money - and that's the message of this 12th edition, which will feature numerous events and meetings across France.

Solidarity finance has always been at the heart of Crédit Municipal de Paris' missions. In 2018, the bank launched a new solidarity savings account, the Livret Paris Partage. Offering an attractive interest rate (1%), this passbook is designed to be doubly solidarity-based: on the one hand, it helps finance Crédit Municipal de Paris's social pawnbroking activity, and on the other, it supports partner associations to which savers can decide to donate their interest.
