As every year, Finansol and the daily newspaper La Croix have published their barometer of solidarity finance.

Good news: their study shows that 2019 was a record year for solidarity finance, with a 24% increase in solidarity investments, representing 810,000 new subscriptions.

These figures reflect the growing interest of the French in virtuous investments. The social and environmental impact of their savings is now a key concern.

Fundamentally convinced of the importance of encouraging ethical and sustainable finance, Crédit Municipal de Paris has completed its solidarity savings offering by launching a new solidarity savings product in 2018 the Livret Paris Partage. This enables savers to donate their interest to 3 associations, Emmaüs Coup de Main, Siel Bleu and Agence du Don en Nature.

This solidarity savings account is enjoying spectacular growth, reinforcing the findings of the solidarity finance barometer: outstanding savings have thus risen from €3.7 million at the end of 2019 to €8.3 million in mid-June 2020, an increase of over 120% in 5 months!

Listen to the heads of Crédit Municipal de Paris partner associations talk about the decisive impact of solidarity savings on their activities:
