National Days of Action against Illiteracy

For the^2nd year running, Crédit Municipal de Paris and Banque de France are joining forces for the Journées Nationales d'Action contre l'Illettrisme on September 8 and 9! 

Initiated by theAgence Nationale de Lutte contre l'Illettrisme (ANLCI) in 2014, the Journées Nationales d'Action contre l'Illettrisme (National Days of Action against Illiteracy) bring together numerous social inclusion players every year. With over 2.5 million people affected in France, illiteracy was declared a Great National Cause in 2013.

This year, Crédit Municipal de Paris and Banque de France are once again joining forces for the event, and have taken up the theme of this year's event: "Fighting illiteracy in the workplace: we're all concerned".  

On Thursday, September 8, public and private players will be invited to discuss the barriers to employment caused by illiteracy and illelectronicism. In round-table discussions, they will seek to identify collective, sustainable solutions.
