Many appliances continue to consume electricity even though they have been switched off with their on/off switch: this is the case, for example, with a computer, a TV set... One solution is to buy multi-socket outlets fitted with a switch. By connecting several devices to them, you can switch them off simultaneously via the main switch. In this way, you can create a "picture" station (TV, Blu-ray player, decoder, hi-fi, etc.), a "computer" station (PC, printer, monitor, ADSL box, etc.)... and save money!
