A patron of the Women's Foundation since 2018, Crédit Municipal de Paris has chosen to intensify its partnership by supporting, in particular, the creation of the Observatory of Women's Economic Emancipation. This is an important commitment for the bank, which provides day-to-day support to Parisian women in situations of financial fragility.

Pawnbroking, a long-standing activity of Crédit Municipal de Paris, is a powerful tool for the emancipation and financial independence of women, who make up 80% of its clientele. Women are also in the majority in our support services for the financially vulnerable (60%). This over-representation of women among our customers reflects long-standing and persistent gender inequalities, which Crédit Municipal de Paris is determined to combat.

In addition to its support for the Women's Foundation, Crédit Municipal de Paris aims to offer its customers and beneficiaries in situations of financial fragility comprehensive assistance to help them regain control of their finances. This innovative offer is a cross-functional response to the problems frequently encountered by women - single parenthood, sexual violence, low self-esteem, etc. -. This innovative offering is supported by a solid network of associative and public-sector partners. Launched as an experiment at the end of 2022, the offer is intended to be more widely deployed thereafter.
