Crédit Municipal de Paris takes part in the Journées du Patrimoine, September 16 and 17, 2023

The Heritage Days are an opportunity for the general public to discover the secrets of the oldest financial institution in Paris. With its history, anecdotes and know-how, Ma tante will reveal its secrets to the public.

The two-day program includes:

 - Guided or self-guided tours will introduce you to the history of Crédit Municipal de Paris, which has existed since 1637 and has been located at 55 rue des Francs-Bourgeois since 1777!

Guided tours offered by our partner Des Mots de Des Arts are free of charge, but must be booked in advance: Saturday and Sunday: 11am, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm (subject to availability).

- Free appraisals: visitors can have their objects (jewelry, watches, etc.) appraised free of charge by the establishment's teams of auctioneers, who will estimate their value. In this way, you can discover a fascinating profession, while at the same time gaining valuable information about the objects you own.

- Entre ciel et cours" film . Crédit Municipal de Paris as you've never seen it before! This summer, a drone equipped with a camera flew over the 24,000 m² of the institution. You'll discover breathtaking, never-before-seen views of the building whose foundations were laid at the end of the ^18th century.

- Themed workshops with experts from Crédit Municipal de Paris, for discussions with art object specialists.

How to preserve a precious object" demo Discover the packing techniques used by Crédit Municipal de Paris storekeepers. The demonstration will be carried out on typical objects, representative of those deposited as pledges or in our CC ART conservation center.

Workshops on stones, silver and gold: our teams of auctioneers will introduce you to the basics of appraising jewelry and precious objects.
