The Women's Foundation, of which Crédit Municipal de Paris is a partner, has unveiled its new action plan to end violence against women.

Launched on November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the plan is based on the report "Where is the money to house women victims of violence" and the launch of a fundraising campaign to finance it.

This action plan is based on two observations: there is an urgent need to get away from violence, and to support women victims by offering specialized accommodation if necessary, as well as legal and social support. But the urgency is also for tomorrow: a new generation needs to be sensitized to gender equality and thus put an end to the reproduction of violence against women and their children.

To date, 102 women have been victims of feminicide in 2021. That's 12 more than in the whole of 2020. We urgently need to focus all policies to combat domestic violence on protecting women. At a time when French people's awareness of gender equality is growing, as is intolerance of sexist and sexual violence, the Women's Foundation reminds everyone that donations enable associations to take action.

Every year, thousands of abused women and their children find themselves without a solution because the associations lack the resources they need.
