Discover the winners of the 3rd 1% art market competition

Five artists win the third edition of the 1% art market scheme:

The jury met on Friday July 9 to select the winners of this 3rd edition.

Chaired by Camille Morineau, Director of the AWARE Foundation, the jury was made up of representatives from the City of Paris and Crédit Municipal de Paris, and included guest experts Guillaume Désanges, art critic and curator; Anne Dressen, curator at the Musée d'art moderne de Paris; and Estelle Pagès, Director of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Lyon.

The "1% art market" is a scheme run by the City of Paris and Crédit Municipal de Paris to support artistic creation by local artists in the visual arts.

As part of this production grant, a budget of up to €20,000 is allocated to each of the winning artists. The works produced will be exhibited in a partner venue and launched at the time of Nuit Blanche 2022. The overall €110,000 endowment is financed by Crédit Municipal de Paris, which takes 1% of sales from its 80 annual auctions.
