Blood drive with EFS - Tuesday, May 17, 2022

On Tuesday May 17, Crédit Municipal de Paris, in partnership with Etablissement français du sang, is organizing a major blood drive. It is open to all, by appointment, from 12pm to 5pm.
Why give blood?
Blood donation helps to keep thousands of men and women in France healthy and well. People undergoing surgery or heavy treatment, victims of haemorrhage or accidents, or women who have had a difficult birth, are saved thanks to blood donations.
1,700 blood donations are needed every day in the Île-de-France region to treat patients. Blood collection is essential all year round, and donors need to be able to carry out this act of solidarity on a regular and consistent basis, as blood products have a limited lifespan: 7 days for platelets, 42 days for red blood cells. Blood donations are possible every eight weeks, up to six times a year for men and four times a year for women.
Before coming to the clinic, prospective donors are invited to test their eligibility and make an appointment via the platform mon-rdv-dondesang.efs.sante.fr or on the "Don de sang" app.
In 1 hour save 3 lives, we're counting on you!
To make an appointment for May 17 :

Entrance via 57 bis rue des Francs-Bourgeois, 75004 Paris
A few practical tips before giving blood: Be between 18 and 70 years of age and weigh at least 50 kg. Be in possession of photo identification. It is possible to donate blood after an injection of the Covid-19 vaccine, with no deferral period required.
