Increase in the price of gold and re-evaluation of the usury rate

The price of gold has risen significantly in recent months. Crédit Municipal de Paris, as a result, has chosen to increase its pawn loan scale and proposes, as of October 1, 2019, the following values:
- Ingots and coins: estimated at €36/gr (€2/gr increase)
- 18 K gold: estimated 33 €/gr (increase of 1 €/gr)
- 14 K gold: estimated €20/gr (€2/gr increase)
- 9 K gold: estimate 12 €/gr (increase of 4 €/gr)
At the same time, rates have been revised downwards for the 4th quarter of 2019 on the following brackets:
- Loans over €6,000 and less than or equal to €20,000: annual interest rate of 4.65% and annual custody charge of 1.00%, i.e. APR of 5.65%, instead of 5.80% previously.
- Loans over €20,000: annual interest rate of 4.55% and annual custody charge of 1.00%, i.e. APR of 5.55% instead of the previous 5.80%.
