By carpooling, you can make your journeys more eco-friendly, and save time and money. It's also a great way to make new friends along the way! There are several online platforms for proposing or finding a carpool: BlaBlaCar, Mobicoop (a non-profit organization that doesn't charge commission), Klaxit (specialized in home-work trips)... As a driver, compulsory third-party liability insurance is normally sufficient. However, drivers are strongly advised to check their policy, in particular to ensure that any clauses do not exclude carpooling from coverage.
