15th edition of Solidarity Finance Week

  • Solidarity savings and finance

From November 7 to 14, FAIR (formerly Finansol) is organizing the 15th national Solidarity Finance Week. A major awareness-raising campaign, this event aims to make everyone aware that their savings are a means of supporting virtuous projects.

By choosing a socially responsible savings product to invest your money, you are directly or indirectly financing companies and associations whose environmental or social actions provide an essential response to current issues. This choice is all the more decisive given the growing importance of these social issues.

With Solidarity Finance Week, FAIR reminds us that finance can become more humane and ethical.

In 2018, Crédit Municipal de Paris launched a new sharing savings product: the Livret Paris Partage. Under this scheme, savers can donate 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of their interest to a partner association of their choice: Emmaüs Coup de Main, the Siel Bleu Foundation or the Agence du Don en Nature. The savings collected also enable the bank to perpetuate its social and solidarity activities, in particular pawnbroking.
